The 0-3 Montessori program allows a parent the opportunity to attend with their child for up to 3 hours Our Parenting and Infants’ room is a place for you to come and learn with your child (0-3 years). It is similar to a playgroup, but offers educational guidance to mothers and fathers of infants and toddlers. Our Montessori trained Infant and Toddler guide is able to help you to facilitate your child’s growing need for independence, order, movement and language.

Parents, Infants & Toddlers

Our Montessori parents, infants and toddler program allows parents to attend with their child for a two hour session weekly, in a carefully prepared environment. It is a place for you to come and learn with your child, similar to playgroup, but offers educational guidance to mothers and fathers of infants and toddlers. Our Montessori trained guide is able to offer you help and support to facilitate your child’s growing need for independence, order, language and movement. In this program, we aim to offer practical suggestions concerning the application of Montessori principles in the home. Through the specifically designed classroom, parents are able to observe their child using these principles as well as having the opportunity to be hands-on with the Montessori method of education.

The program offers a combination and range of activities for the child including:

  • Food preparation

  • Care of the environment

  • Hand-eye coordination

  • Care of self

  • Sensorial development

  • Art

  • Gross motor

  • Fine motor

  • Social relations

  • Language development

  • Music

  • Science experiments

In joining our Parent, Infant and Toddler class, it allows parents to enjoy time away from the pressure of everyday life, being together with other parents and their children as well as building upon the foundation of Montessori education.
